Remembering that time I should’ve clarified what kind of spicy-ness level I could handle at an Indian restaurant. I simply said “mild” but should’ve said “Asian mild. American medium.”😅 Especially when the waiter paused. Turns out being with my white-passing friend made him go with “American mild.”

On this date in 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the imperial forces of Japan. The loss of life and destruction was horrific, and it pulled the U.S. into the war.

Two years ago today we were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for protecting The US Capitol on January 6th 2021. Almost 4 years later the efforts to downplay, whitewash and minimize what happened appear to be succeeding. I won't ever stop standing up to them.

Outside SCOTUS where a Freedom To Be Ourselves rally in support of trans rights is underway.

DC evidently granted permits to both this & a transphobic counter right beside it, which is calling for people to worship Jesus & conversion therapy. They’re countered by chants of “Protect trans kids.”
