Do you write romance novels? Do you write queer novels? I edit mostly queer romance. This will affect all of our work. They want to criminalize our work under the guise of "protecting children." MF romance isn't safe, either. They will ban it all.
"Pornography" is a dog-whistle, same as "DEI" and "woke" — a pretext for broad censorship and repression of issues related sex and gender.
Unfortunately, too many on the left take it at face value ... and distance themselves from fights. We need much broader awareness and our allies to fight back.

The golden rule of piracy should always be to never take from individual creators. Steal all you want from big corps but individual artists are out here giving you free work constantly and scraping by on the bare minimum. There is NO excuse!!
