It’s a recalibration of economic control.

Oligarchs don’t live paycheck to paycheck. They have the capital to buy market dips and recoup faster, acquiring more assets at fire sale prices along the way.

When the dust finally settles, they will own more.

The rest of us will own less. A lot less.

Time for Democrats to Pitch Their Own ‘Contract with America’
Resistance is necessary, not futile. But we need more than that, starting now.

Pritzker: The question I ask is: if you’re willing to hand the keys to Europe over to Putin, what’s next? How does the US retain its leadership in the world when he’s essentially retreating to our own borders? He’s even made enemies of the Canadians—I can’t imagine anything more telling than that.

In the 1890s, tariffs reduced government income, increased government expenditure, and undercut foreign investors’ confidence in U.S. reliability, leading to catastrophic effects for ordinary Americans.

Tariffs haven't changed. www.thebulwark.com/p/trump-love...
Trump Loves the 1890s But He’s Clueless About Them
The tariffs he keeps babbling about didn’t make that decade great. They helped usher in a depression.

The US sided with Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, and the Grand Ayatollah of Iran.

We are just getting started fighting.

Remember, when you feel defeated. When you feel overwhelmed. When you feel like you can't keep track of it all. When you feel like it's hopeless. That is EXACTLY what the Trump Regime wants you to feel. We aren't whipped. You need to take a knee, you do that. We got this.

A new North Dakota bill would require stores to pull any book with any "material harmful to minors" from the shelves.

For those in the cheap seats, that effectively means ANY mention of sex, sexuality or gender.

A bookseller could be arrested for displaying 1984.

Port: It's not just about kids, and it's not just libraries
Legislation under consideration in Bismarck wouldn't just restrict access to books in schools and libraries. The language of the bill also applies to private book stores.
