The first paragraph here is probably kind of gobbledy-gook-y out of context, but one thing I've had some fun with is imagining alternative ways to play the games I've written. That said I usually don't get into too much nitty gritty. As I see it, I'm offering ideas to the player, not a new rule set.

Was just thinking about how I need to playtest MERELY PLAYERS (it's been such a hard time getting folks together!) and passed these on the street, glaring at me.

I had completely forgotten that this anime existed, much less that I had seen it and been moved by it, until stumbling across a clip posted on YouTube. Chirin No Suzu!

Among other things, I'm really proud of how this one *looks.* I never thought the actual graphic/layout portion of all this would be so fun.

A milestone undone by commemorating it.

This is maybe the fastest a game of mine has ever garnered a rating lol. Thanks Zerodan!

My own ticket is currently covered, but I'm trying to make sure the four-person ensemble can be there with me. The cheapest tickets are $250 each, and the most expensive are $1000 each.

At this point I feel like I spend a lot of time just looking for jams and letting that inspire my output. Sometimes I get lucky and a jam aligns with something I'm already interested in making and the the deadline just helps me complete it. Anyone else?

Interestingly, the issue also included a separate adaptation of the same story by Richard Corben, which really blew me away and demonstrated what comics could do. To this day I find it kind of funny that Corben's Eckels kind of looks like Aaron Neville.
