Alright, the later part of the book is drawing me in better. The issue at the beginning is that it’s pretty obvious what’s going on, but it feels like it takes so long to verify it. I’ll probably do a fresh reread of the series after finishing this.

You know, I was going to go as my old wizard costume. But I can revitalize it with a knife prop and declare “I’m a knife wizard!”

The movie will start with a cast of 10 people, 5 of which slowly fade into the background as their chance of being relevant until the end diminish. Then one of them will suddenly reappear and stab one of the others, removing them from the movie as well.

It’s more annoying than it is IP leaking at least. I’m like “Hey, what metadata do you want me to save?” Them: “Let me ask the people you’re pulling that metadata from.“
