Switched out another pair of switches, and it only took me 1.5hrs… (that’s sarcasm, btw). The issue was that the double switch wires are not the colors I expected, and the switch that was in there was “upside down” and I got the sides wrong. Got it working, but need a new faceplate due to new style.

Those maniacs! The top background is reused and color shifted between these two. I now hope the third is the same.

Hour nine: Vac and Keyleth are basically done. Just Scanlan and a bunch of white space left. I had guessed a bit over ten hours for this, based on the last puzzle I did. I’ll narrow that down to twelve hours now.

Hour five…15 minutes of which were spent looking for the GOD DAMN small “green” piece to finish off Vex. At least I found multiple other random pieces that extended them while I was searching. Hope I’m not missing a piece.

Hour “two”, not much green in the puzzle so went with that. Going to finish off with 1.5hrs of work and go for the teal Vex and Percy next.

My backlit frame had these “snap shut” pieces for the actual frame and they’re so much easier than the tabs on the frames I normally get. And now I found these frames for puzzles that have the same mechanism. They’re great. Now to put together the 3 other puzzles I have like this…

This switch has been loose for a while now and when I took off the cover plate, the outlet was cracked in half. Bought replacements about a month ago, and finally switched them out.

And finally, the last photo. I tried to do the matting myself, but it didn’t go well. So got it cut at a store. Hung it on the wall, and it’s a bit brighter than ideal, but it gets the job done.

Apparently these four legs I bought at the same time are actually different. Overall height is the same, but the flourish at the top is different. Time to mull over if this will bother me. They’ll be four feet apart in the finished project…

And here is the semi-end goal. Backlit that I’ll hang on the wall to be on the switch to the living room. This picture still has the white protective film on the light and no matting (craft store was out).

Finished at hour 10. The last jigsaw I did took me months, because I would spend 1-2 hours on a weekend. Plus, I double sorted it (i.e. took all the edges, but dumped the rest into the box). Having all the pieces out, even unsorted, helped a lot. Then just go around looking for groups.
