Made the kid watch the Goonies. She proclaimed it boring about an hour ago, and is now screaming "THATS THE FLIPPIN SHIP! THE ACTUAL FLIPPIN SHIP!!" at the top of her lungs. I assume that means her opinion has changed some... 🤔

I feel like battered shite. Starting to suspect I've got some sort of ear or sinus infection. Woo! But at least the hole in my scar has closed up entirely now. 🙃 Imma going back to lurking while I continue to feel terrible. 👍

It's been a week. I've got a cold, my knee is telling me off again, the fish tank filter suddenly died, I've got a bloody great hole in my belly scar, I'm knee deep in a two day migraine, and my house is an absolute tip. 👍 Oh and we have a playdate tomorrow. Yay?

Just spent the last hour making tiny polymer clay elephants for Goblin's homework project. I did this, high on spray mount fumes and on less than four hours sleep. I reaaaaaally hope they are elephant shaped tomorrow... 🤣😅

Ursa has found a lone pompom with a boggle eye stuck to it. She's having great fun! I think it's safe to say she's feeling better. Also she REALLY likes her liquid anti-inflammatory meds. I don't know what crack they put in that stuff but she'll take your face off for it.

Today Steve the Orange sofa was FIXED! Huzzah! I thought they might have to take that section away but nope! Bloke chucked some new wood in there to properly brace that section, and voila!

Ursa has an actual UTI this time, as suspected. She's got two different meds, both of which she took with surprising ease. (It'll be a devil tomorrow. Just you wait!) Otherwise she's perfectly healthy. I DO like this new vets though! A bazillion times better than Medivet right off the bat.

Well I got the 70000 tons of washing done. If I've accomplished nothing else today, at least I managed that. Ursa has also stopped pacing for now, thank feck. We may hop her to the vets this week. This is smacking of actual infection, rather than her usual cow-bag with a grudge behavior.

It's barely 10am and I'm 100% done already. The front door lock is being weird, Ursa won't stop pacing and trying to wee on things, Goblin Child is in full grump mode over an app I refuse to put on my phone, I burnt breakfast, and I've got 70000 tons of washing to do. ARGH.

The rearrange is done. Unfortunately we noticed once we moved the sofa that part of the frame has collapsed. Wonderful for a sofa that's barely 7 months old. 🙄 But it's fiiiiine. People are coming to look at it. Steve will live to carry our asses once more! He's just a bit squib atm.
