Sorry, I should clarify this: swers themselves aren't predatory, or at least aren't predatory as a conglomerate outside of individuals but there's plenty of people who consume and produce sex work that ARE. I think mainstream porn is worse for this than people doing Onlyfans themselves, mind.

And then suddenly, I get 300 quid in a night for pictures of myself and it was, to be honest, demoralising. I'm not ashamed of it and I do it occasionally still but much less actively and empowerment is a complicated thing for many people but we can't just ignore that sw is geared towards...

I work really hard on my pixel art and writing and people would ignore that if they could get a picture of my tits and on the one hand my tits are very good. On the other, the focus was not on my art like I wanted it to be. I could be selling art commissions and get nothing for weeks.

... Then ask me for kink material they knew I didn't enjoy but couldn't turn my nose up to in that moment. That is a violation of consent and one of the more minor examples that occurs during sex work. It can be empowering. I found it empowering. But it can also be confining and there's a spectrum.

Poverty absolutely leads to a coercive consent where people have no option but to turn to sex work and, speaking from experience, there's absolutely people out there who will try to take advantage of that to skirt and manipulate consent. I had a friend who would wait until bills were due...

And it was just a bit of a weird episode overall. The others have been much more fun and genuinely funny.
