Me, during the work week: struggles to wake up with the alarm.
Me, on a Saturday morning when I have nowhere to be and nothing particular to do: wakes up 20 minutes before my typical alarm would sound, without it set. For no reason at all.

Dear Democratic Party: why are you not screaming this from every rooftop? Why are you not holding press conferences with these poor fired people - putting a face on what the richest man is destroying?

I am once again shouting into the void that if your job requires a Master's Degree, it should pay at least enough for rent on a one bedroom apartment within a reasonable commuting distance.

When I was in undergrad for theatre, we were told to never audition with Sondheim until we were over 30 because we didn't have the life experience. I get it now. Being Alive hits different at 38.

Was thinking about this today. One of my favorite things my mom has ever done was when her new neighbor put up a confederate flag, she put out her Pride flag. The next day, the confederate flag was gone. She kept her Pride flag up.
