It's ridiculous that (at least) one of the country's most prominent medical schools taught students concepts that were out of date before their grandparents were born!

Yet...here we are.

The concepts of "overdiagnosis" and "overtreatment" are trendy right now, but it's important to recognize that they are themselves subject to overdiagnosis, especially with the accelerating rejection of expertise and replacement of scientific understanding with subjective, easily biased heuristics.
