I'm not ready to give up Autumn. I'm still enjoying it.

We had frost but everything is already thawed. Now it's just cold and damp.

An hour from me. Not too bad.

I want to go to a Daiso for the stationary and art stuff. But last time I looked, I think the closest was in NYC. Bit of a trek.

I can replace the one that died. I have a turkey breast we're going to prepare together.

My goal is simply getting independent enough to survive when I'm not around.

So far I'm very happy with his abilities.

He did fantastic, and our burgers were delicious. K did an excellent job.

He can make basic cold sandwiches, grilled cheese, eggs, hamburgers, hot dogs, and pasta.

He can operate the microwave, a combo air fryer/toaster oven, and the stove top.

Our next lesson is the slow cooker when

He worked I instructed verbally. I only helped when he had trouble flipping on of the burgers. Everything else he managed alone.

How hot the burner should be, covering the pan with foil, timing, toasting the buns a little to warm them up from the fridge, and even how to use tongs and paper towels to soak up the liquid grease to toss before washing the pan with soap.

I only have one physical gift for my son and he already knows what it is because he picked it out, and I haven't shopped for anyone else. I am panicking myself.
