Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney just did the unthinkable: publicly declaring that Canada will defend Greenland if Donald Trump attempts any military action. That’s not rhetoric — that’s NATO Article 5, meaning an attack on Greenland is treated as an attack on all allies, including Canada.
