So much of what the Puget Sound area needs is subject to the rest of the state that resists giving the region and locals the authority to tax and plan better. Your governor doesn’t want new taxes, but does want 3 new ferries. Good luck getting initiatives on the ballot to go over those bozos’ heads.

Well, I didn’t hit your talking points, ho hum, but fewer services per capita isn’t the same as fewer total services. Neither is workable. Cherry picking a horrendous housing policy is so easy because in one way or another the counties and cities have always been in the developers’ pockets.
