@goppenheim.bsky.social
Librarian. Enjoys eating.
He's from a town way closer to the city than, say, Naperville. (I knew him tangentially when he was a snot nosed prick.)
Yeah but from the deep suburbs, he's like a racist Kevin McAllister

Free idea: a @mattzollerseitz.bsky.social Wes Anderson Collection style book on the design of Sesame Street. I zoomed in on some of the pictures in this www.nytimes.com/2025/07/28/r... for minutes at a time!

@jimbehymer.bsky.social Is this on the list?
I thought I knew all the hyperlocal Massachusetts foods, but tonight I learned of the existence of "Chicken Barb" and it's been 30 minutes away from me all this time.

It's no North Shore Beef, but I will try this.
This Chicken Sandwich Has a Cult Following in the Merrimack Valley
The chicken barb (or "bahb") has been a favorite since 1940s.

#breakyourstreak Honestly it'll be fun to build this baby up again once the Tech Guild gets what it so richly deserves!

Purely anecdotal but there were a LOT more people lined up before the polls opened than in 2016 or 2020. (Fairly blue area in a very blue state.)

Not at all the point, but I'm glad the YouTube algorithm recommended some classic 11'8" bridge videos after I looked at the stream from Baltimore.

The Times op-ed railing against Banned Books Week was nothing if not lazy and incurious.
