the pommel has the skalitz crest with some leaf decorations. it's octagonal which is really fun. idk if there's some greater art history/christian/meaningful narrative reason for it being 8 sides. if there is let me know, but it sure looks cool.

speaking of christianity, the 3 dots on the crossguard likely refers to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. a lot of christian art has motifs divided into 3 bc of the trinity. could also serve narrative meaning on the 3 owners of the sword:
Radzig = Father
Henry = Son
Martin = Holy Ghost
