Nothing beats that.
I watched some of that New Game Plus showcase earlier, and it was a pretty big meh. Ignoring that most of the games didn't interest me and that I didn't know who any of those content creators were, I felt like the main problem with it was that the format was awful. Particularly the discussion parts.

I'm struggling to figure out what the point of Harlan Coben's Final Twist is. It's just your run of the mill true crime show (i.e. Dateline, 48 Hours) with a famous mystery writer (their words, I've never heard of the guy) attached to it that talks at you like you're five. So strange and pointless.

Best Medicine was okay, but man it feels like it will get old fast if there isn't more to it. A show like this only works if it has good characters, and this show definitely isn't there yet. Not only is the lead unlikable, but most of the residents introduced so far are pretty annoying as well.

This guy has made more money from one movie than most people will ever make working for their entire life, yet I'm supposed to feel some kind of sympathy for him because he pissed it all away living beyond his means (and doing who knows what else with it)? This guy can go fuck all the way off.

Just finished watching both Wicked films for the first time back-to-back. I thought Wicked was pretty good, while For Good was just okay at best. While I've heard the song plenty of times before, it was nice to finally have context for Defying Gravity (which was easily the highlight of either film).

While catching up on Chicago Fire, I realized that it's now the longest running scripted live action series I'm currently watching (14 seasons). I guess it happened after Blue Bloods ended last season. And the funny thing is, second and third on the list are Chicago P.D. (13) and Chicago Med (11).

I wasn't terribly excited for either movie, but I ended up enjoying both versions of The Running Man. If I had to choose I'd probably go with the newer one, though they both have their pros and cons. I enjoyed the new one's cast in particular, especially Michael Cera, Lee Pace and Emilia Jones.

I watched all three Tron movies for the first time this week, and I can't really say I'm a fan. They look pretty (well, I'm sure the first one did when it originally came out, but it looks like ass now) and have some bumpin' beats, but the plots range from pretty stupid to completely nonsensical.

I just saw something that said Chris D'Elia is performing in town next week. I thought that dude got cancelled for being a pedophile or something (I'm pretty sure he literally got CGI'd out of a movie because of it), but I guess you really can't keep a shitty white man down.

I'm watching some movie called Trap House. Even though the premise sounds kinda ridiculous, it somehow managed to assemble a decent cast (Dave Bautista, Bobby Cannavale, Sophia Lillis) and was produced by Ridley Scott. The movie isn't horrible, but I'm not sure it's worthy of the talent involved.

This Karoline Leavitt photo thing is so weird. Showing how someone actually looks like is now an attempt to embarrass them? I'm sorry that this lady looks ugly as fuck (which you can tell even without the super close-up photo), but pointing it out doesn't mean there's a smear campaign against her.

I still haven't been able to cut the Twitter cord completely, but I have been posting on here more often compared to when I first started the account. The main issues are that most of the contests are still over there and I do get more engagement (however little I get) over there as well.

Wake Up Dead Man was kinda disappointing, at least compared to the previous two movies. The story just wasn't as engaging and the characters weren't very memorable. It also spends way too much time setting things up at the beginning. Not terrible, but certainly the weakest of the series so far.

Really sad to hear this. Captain Qwark is a character you love to hate or hate to love depending on the game, but Jim always played him to perfection. I know he wasn't able to play him in the most recent game, but I was still hoping we'd get to hear him in the role again. Sucks that we won't. #RIP

Man, I just randomly came across a post on here from someone I used to be on a forum with years ago. I'm not 100% sure it's the same person, but after looking at some of his other posts I'd be willing to bet it was. Haven't thought about him or that forum for years, so it was super weird to see.

Despite George Clooney and Adam Sandler bro'ing it up on a bunch of talk shows to promote the film, Jay Kelly just doesn't seem like a movie that has much mass appeal. I'm not saying it's full on Oscar bait, but it seems like it was made more for that type of audience rather than a mainstream one.

I think Prince of Persia is my worst offender in the 'series I own games from but have never played' category at six games. Yakuza is probably worse (also six games, though it's eight if you count the Judgment spin-offs), but since I played about half of Yakuza 0 it technically doesn't count.

I enjoyed Roofman more than I thought I would (the advertising didn't do it any favors), but the one thing that really bothered me was that Naruto hoodie he wears in the movie. It takes place in 2004, but Naruto didn't premiere in America until 2005. It's hard to believe he would have worn that.

I'm not sure if it's worse that Inside Edition referred to a kid dressed as Marshmello as a kid 'dressed as a marshmallow' or that they referred to the 'Dictionary.com Word of the Year' as a prestigious honor. But hey, it's Inside Edition, so it's probably all equally stupid and shitty.

As I said earlier, I've had my fill of Halo competitive multiplayer (and competitive multiplayer in general, if I'm being honest) so I'm fine with this. Not including it probably gets the game out faster, keeps the cost down, and gets them working on bringing over future entries sooner.

There was no guarantee I'd like It: Welcome to Derry despite how much I love the movies, but fortunately I can say that I loved the first episode and I can't wait to see more. Despite the different time period and different characters, it still has the same vibe I love from the movies.

I appreciate all of the free food I've gotten from McDonald's Monopoly game on the app, but man I wish they had a better redemption system. Only being able to redeem one item every 15 minutes sucks when you have so many items to redeem. But at least we have like a month left to redeem everything.

Wow, I can't believe I'll actually be able to play this. I've never owned an Xbox console and I've never cared much for PC gaming, so this feels like it'll be my first legitimate chance to play through the game (unless they fuck it up somehow and it ends up being a terrible port).

The fact that people are asking for remasters of games that can literally be played on current gen hardware is truly baffling. I doubt they can actually improve them very much, and if you really want to play them that badly there's nothing stopping you from doing it right at this exact moment.
Famitsu/Ryokutya2089: Tales series updates:

-New Tales game in development but will be a while before it's announced
-Remaster project has two titles in development (next remaster title announcing soon)
-Xillia 2 remaster still in development
-over 70% of Tales sales are overseas

I've had a crush on Julia Ioffe for a while, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her on last night's episode of Have I Got News For You. I will gladly take more of her and less of the lying Republican assholes they feature on the show (for what reason I don't know) way too often for my liking .
