Yesterday was a day to savor, even considering the circumstances.
We went to the toughest ground in the PL, we fell behind in ugly fashion, we came back in rousing fashion (with a threadbare squad), and LFC supporters embarrassed themselves nationally.

The optics of this are terrible and should spark a serious discussion. I can’t believe the clowns in charge of this league could be so detached that they don’t even consider the worrying optics of this whatsoever.

Don't think that could have gone worse. Out of the FA Cup, lost Gabriel Jesus to potentially serious injury, missed a load of chances, missed a penalty, played 30 mins of extra-time ahead of a North London derby, and the heartache of losing a penalty shoot-out.
