Continuing with the American birds theme, one bird I really like to paint is the cardinal. This is the 3rd cardinal painting I've done and my favourite of the three.

I had several Bluebirds show up today. I was glad to be home to grab the camera and get a few shots.....these little birds are so vibrant against the snow on a sunny day. I have only just started to see them the last three years or so.
