I'm curious to see the wording of the apology. Nine years ago David Pocock, a long-time LGBTQ ally, gave what I and others consider the gold standard for apologies. It'll be interesting to compare hers to his:

A non-profit I know is submitting a large grant application for federal funds. It has scrubbed all mention of diversity, equity, race, or ethnicity from the app, focusing solely on economic mobility and expanding disability services.

I got a front-row seat to some pretty incredible karma tonight. A man in power has been protecting another who has been sexually harassing others. This man has treated me like dirt as recently as last week. He got called out VERY publicly and irreparably.
I hope those fuckers get fired.

I always think of a woman I worked with who didn't vote. Why? "I'm not smart enough to vote." She was a single mom to a young girl, and having an affair with the alcoholic boss.
