It’s easy to say “don’t obey illegal orders”, but it’s a huge decision. At best, it’s a career-ending move. At worst, a Dishonorable Discharge and a possible tour of duty in Leavenworth, KS. Yeah, they need to talk to a lawyer first.

There’s a lot of things we need, and we’re not going to get them through the established system. The only non-violent answer I see is a Second Constitutional Convention. Bring in people from across the political spectrum and give them a clean sheet of paper. Then we vote to approve or not.

Term limits, but then after the term they get paid for life and are forbidden from outside work. Will make it harder to bribe them with the office of a lucrative job.
