Which makes me think that the “Deport them” thing will be the new “build the wall.” They’ll deport a few of the absolute worst, realize there is no way they can actually accomplish the goal because they don’t have a real plan, unroll the “mission accomplished” banner and call it a day.

I have to respectfully disagree with you. I think 20% cumulative inflation under Biden had a lot to do with the result. Although people shouldn’t blame Biden, they did. Most western democracies had issues this cycle due to inflation and the US was not spared from that trend.
