i did finally buy an external hard drive to back up my files though (in addition to my thumb drive) so i was able to remove all that from my drive which is a step in the right direction.

like i agree that requiring you to enable a bunch of useless (for me) features just to have something you already had access to is stupid but this could have been prevented in several ways

Switching to Linux may not be for everyone, but the number of people it IS for is growing. I am just exhausted trying to turn off all of this unnecessary, inefficient, intrusive spyware.
