a floorplan of the top level of a military facility, mainly featuring amenities such as locker rooms, a cafeteria, and some meeting and communications rooms. the second level includes medical facilities, a morgue, a prison block of six supermaximum security cells, and a cluster of testing and observation rooms. the deepest level is the machine room and related engineering and structural things to keep the facility up and running.

tried to add "née" to my autocorrect for convenience but it seems that Scrivener's autocorrect has some... uh... rough edges.
A screenshot of a Scrivener document and manually added autocorrect entry that converts the French borrowing "nee" to its acute-accented form. For some reason, the autocorrect does not recognize "née" as a whole word, and also corrects the letters N-E-E to N-Acute E-regular E when it appears inside of other, correctly spelled words, such as "need," unless manually capitalized.

I was struck by a visual and needed to draw it right away so I also used this as an excuse to sketch out a rough idea of what Novaglow’s updated costume actually looks like.

A couple of drawings of an androgynous dark skinned character known as Novaglow, or Angel. In one, Angel simply gestures, wearing heart-shaped prescription glasses and with their shaved hair dyed teal and green. In the other drawing, they are in-costume, wearing a bedazzled rhinestone wig, kaleidoscope goggles, and a dark bluish jumpsuit inspired by some figure skating costumes, with bell bottom pant legs that are covered in glitter or sequins. They have a rhinestone collar and cuffs on their costume, and a V-neck of similar glitteriness. The same drawing, essentially, but the character has been given a jet black aura that glows with purple edges, and some of the colors have become much more purple. Their eyes glow out of costume, like this, and they look almost as if they have walked under a UV black light, the glitter and rhinestones fluorescing brightly.

rough Firebird costume concept for Seth, w/ some cabaret influence. I'd like to draw a nice picture of them dancing in it but I wanted to get the general design down first. Thinking about having to draw all the beads for real though... 😱
