Some of the research cited involved transgenic mice, but some of it did involve research into transgender healthcare.

Which is to say: it wasn’t a misspeak. It wasn’t Trump being dumb. It was rhetoric.

It was meant to invoke ire against trans people, “DEI,” science, etc.

Cities in Southwest Washington are debating whether they are willing to chip in to fund light rail on a new Interstate Bridge over the Columbia. Their refusal to do so could delay construction or jeopardize billions in public funding.

Amanita a day, 15: An old Amanita Pantherina that had started to dry up, contract, and the usually straight gills had curled. I loved how it looked. Old can be beautiful! The spiderweb with dots of moisture made me happy too. Other shots below.⬇️

We are experiencing an assault on science unparalleled by anything I’ve seen in my life. It’s not one issue or another anymore, the entire institution is under attack by the most powerful individuals in the country.

This Friday, where will you be?

Not only does it make up nonsense, it is often racist and violent nonsense. Also, Open AI is now “owned” by Tr$mp with his $500billion investment. I don’t want the Government having access to my medical info. Opt out of AI transcription when possible.

The announcement of Trump’s executive order on trans people makes good on his campaign promises to fight so-called “gender ideology”—a term that allows him and his allies to frame their policies as attacking a belief system, rather than targeting a minority group.

I wrote about the exclusion of people with #bipolar disorder from #psychedelic clinical trials. There has always been a (valid) concern that mania could be triggered or worsened. But newer research is also showing how psilocybin can benefit bipolar patients, despite this risk. #mentalhealth
