Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

America is beautiful, contradictory, unfinished. I am proud of our country even as we constantly strive to make it better, to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it home.

Happy Independence Day. No Kings in America.

Empires fall when they no longer invest in their populations. With this Big Beautiful Bill, we are watching the collapse of the American Empire.

Remember. Democrats could’ve stopped a lot of this madness in March. They had one job - to stop the Continuing Resolution. Instead, 9 voted to advance the CR without negotiating a single term with Republicans.

This sentence, typed in her dissent, should scare the living fuck out of everyone in this country.

"This Supreme Court is an existential threat to the rule of law."

Our President calls for arresting political opponents. He encourages and pardons white supremacists. He’s deployed the marines on US citizens. He sends innocent people to foreign prisons and allows ICE to kidnap people. He calls for violence, so people are violent. It’s normalized and scary.
Same week: the Speaker of the House said a Democratic Governor should be “tarred and feathered,” there was a political assassination against a Democrat. The same week the Head of DHS said she’d “liberate this city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership,” a US Dem Senator was detained.

Fascism by definition is illogical
The president exists in a dystopian fantasy world with no connection to reality

I’m shocked 😐. The US has a spending issue with the military contractors, but there was no way they were touching those. Instead, let’s target foreign aid and broadcasting, less than 1% of the budget.

The paradox of tolerance: a tolerant society must limit intolerance, or else intolerance will take over.

Democracy is not just majority rule; it’s a system that protects the rights of all people. It’s necessary to set limits on expressions of intolerance that threaten these freedoms.
Rubio publicly criticizing an ally for cracking down on right-wing extremism. And Germany hitting back. We are in a new world

This was an optional event for students. The students you see here wanted to watch Trump speak.

Also, a red cap means they got a 4.0. Isn’t that crazy? People with a 4.0 chose to see him.
Trump to University of Alabama students: "You're graduating an an exciting time for our nation ... what will be unbelievable growth. You're gonna see that very soon. You're gonna see it starting very very soon. The whole world is talking about it."

Yay! One step at a time. But ALL these prisoners deserve to be brought back to the US to have due process. This is human trafficking. If there is no due process for one person, there is no due process for all.

Netanyahu loves Trump's plan to force 2 million people from Gaza & turn it into a billionaires’ Riviera. He calls it "voluntary migration.”

It's not voluntary if you bomb & starve those who stay.

It’s ethnic cleansing. It's a war crime.

No more military aid to Netanyahu.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.
