Epstein emails say Trump 'knew about the girls' and spent time with a victim
In one email, Epstein wrote about Trump, saying, "Of course he knew about the girls"

Another week of the House of Representatives being closed for business by Speaker Johnson.

Another week where we do nothing to address the cost of living crisis facing Americans.

Another week where the Epstein files are not being released.

Rep. Johnny Olszewski D-MD (lower left) tried but failed to get recognized on the House floor today to get Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva D-AZ sworn in. Speaker Johnson has refused to seat Grijalva for more than 3 weeks. "This is wrong and you know it Mr. Speaker."

President Trump must be suffering from amnesia. 🤷‍♂️ 🫠
President Trump signed the 2019 law guaranteeing back pay for federal workers during shutdowns. Now he’s trying to break it.

Federal workers shouldn’t pay the price for his political games or failed leadership.

We’re at @bwiairport.bsky.social, where TSA officers & air traffic controllers are working without pay during the shutdown. Let's make it clear:

1️⃣ Federal workers are not political pawns
2️⃣ Airports are being negatively impacted
3️⃣ Compromise requires a seat at the table

We can’t find compromise if we are not speaking to each other. I continue to call on President Trump and GOP leaders to come to the table to negotiate a deal to re-open the government.
Week two of the Republican shutdown.

Democrats have a plan to restore healthcare funding & reopen the government, but House GOP won’t show up because Speaker Johnson canceled votes.

Maybe it's because when the House returns, we’ll have the votes to release the Epstein files. 🤷‍♂️

Federal workers are not political pawns.

Trump’s mass firing plan would make a shutdown permanent, taking away livelihoods and harming critical services. I’m introducing the SAFE Act to safeguard federal employees during shutdowns and ensure back pay if they’re fired unlawfully.

Federal workers are people, not political pawns. I call on all of my colleagues in Congress to join me in preventing mass firings by the Trump administration during a potential government shutdown.
A shutdown should never mean mass layoffs. Yet Trump is threatening to mass fire federal workers, treating them like political pawns. That’s why I’m introducing the SAFE Act to block these attacks and protect workers during shutdowns.

We can — and should — be good stewards of the taxpayer dollar, getting the Key Bridge rebuilt quickly and efficiently.

I believe those goals can be accomplished while including women, minority, and veteran-owned businesses in the process.

We have seen a President gleefully ignore the law and instruct Republicans to gut a Congressional budget that had bipartisan support. Any budget that continues that as a "new normal" should be a non-starter.

Rep. Johnny Olszewski sees a ‘nonstarter’ in funding talks. Why he’s eyeing a shutdown.
Money for federal agencies runs out on Sept. 30, leaving over 300,000 Maryland residents without a paycheck if Congress can’t find a way forward.

The takedown of Jimmy Kimmel mirrors the type of censorship we see in authoritarian regimes and is part of the White House’s ongoing effort to silence its critics and political opponents.

We must stand firm in defending free speech.
ABC announced that it was taking “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” off the air “indefinitely.”

The timing of the announcement prompted many fellow comedians and Hollywood figures to accuse the Disney-owned network of caving to the Trump administration.

Caring about survivors of sexual abuse is not a hoax. It is not a distraction. It is the right thing to do and it’s about damn time this Congress finally tackles the Epstein issues once and for all.
Q: "You said the Epstein documents are a hoax...So what is the theory since these documents came from the Epstein estate?"

Leavitt: "I did not say the documents are a hoax. I said the entire narrative surrounding Jeffrey Epstein right now...is a hoax"

Release the files. No more delays. Release them now.
I just signed Rep. Thomas Massie’s discharge petition to force a vote to release the Epstein files.

Every single member of Congress should sign it. If there’s nothing to hide, there’s no reason to delay.
