Those republican politicians that are not confronting the idiocy of this administration in fear of being primaried...go to a town hall event. You're already being primaried. Yes...there is historical precedence that protectionist policies like across the board tariffs have an unintended and negative effect on the economy. Even Ben Stein was getting the word out in Ferris Bueller way back in the pre-political Trump 80s...

Not saying it’ll happen, only that it’d really be something if the continued 2024 ballot-counting led to Trump finishing at 49.49% and Harris at 48.51%—arguably, a 49%-49% tie.
Trump would almost certainly spin out online.
