I'm someone who's been in ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 with this weird, silly, yet super cool & loyal samurai for nearly half a century ever since pt.2 of Lupin the Third went on air.

My name "chiK" comes from the film "Goemon's Blood Spray" which reads "𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗸emuri no Goemon" in my language Japanese.
Eating out for the first time in years. Tonkatsu (pork loin cutlet) & fried shrimp. There were 4 sizes for a shrimp to pick from - XL, L, M & S - and I did choose S. I was stunned when this was served. Wonder how large it would've been if it'd been XL. Everything, even miso soup was super yummy!

Called my close friend since 5th grade who live in the affected area. She's ok though the earthquake scared the hell outta her as it reminded her of 14 years ago when her house along with her hair salon got all swept away by tsunami. Poor girl. 😥 Mother nature can be brutal at times.

Before anyone asks, I'm OK. The earthquakes that happened an hour ago were too far to feel where I live. But pray for those affected as the Tsunami warnings are currently being issued.

Making Maangchi's "mandu-guk" aka dumpling soup. I'm following her recipe for the soup but my filling for the dumplings are quite different to hers. Mine are minced pork, chinese cabbage, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms & chinese chives. Don't the dumplings look cute? 😁

As soon as I finished cooking this new recipe, I realised that I shouldn't have cooked rice and got spaghetti instead so that it could have been a reproduction of Cagliostro pasta. Oh well...

Main dish to go with minestrone is ready to go!
Japanese pork cutlet aka Tonkatsu. Made bread crumbs from slice bread loaf. Just need to deep fry it before eating.

Minestrone soup is ready to eat!
No liquid whatsoever or seasonings except salt are added, just the juice and taste coming out of the veggies.
The ingredients are garlic, bacon, onions, carrots, red sweet capsicums, zucchini & tomatoes.

Deep fried tofu wrapper

Deep fried thin tofu is turned inside out so the surface gets crispy when cooked. Fillings are curry flavoured minced pork & chopped onion and cheese. Will cook them on a pan until crispy and cheese melts before eating.
