I knew that's on the orange faced shit and that's why I told you that you could still ship your parcel to your home if it meets those two conditions although they basicaly stopped accepting the parcels for the US a couple of months ago.

Not sure if the mailing system is properly working within the US but as long as 1) the contents in your parcel are not intended for sale for consumption, 2) the contents in your parcel are worth less than $100 (per one parcel), the Japan Post Office accepts it.

It's kinda funny to me you called them cinnamon cookies. Yeah they do taste like cinnamon but technically you are wrong. It's called nikki in Japanese and while both are made from the plants under the same species, nikki is made from the roots while cinnamon is from the bark.

That bridge is called Kisen-bashi (Kisen Bridge).

Even though it's not Shinkansen, it ain't take 10 mins from the theatre to the eel restaurant. It's on the other side of the bridge.

The real problem is that it can take a couple of hours driving A MILE once you're in Kyoto because it's packed with the tourists. And the vast majority of tourists places aren't located anywhere near the train stations. You are smart you aren't going to those places.

I've never met anyone who'd travel between Kyoto and Osaka by Shinkansen and I'm sure as hell I never will. It's only less than an hour ride by regular trains. (Yeah I know you really wanted it.)
