I think I am going to have to go get my spare G4 and put a CF card in. @teal-vt.bsky.social was with me when I was trying to figure out the last round of issues with this machine. I swapped and tested RAM, PSU, and even drives.

Its time for something a bit different...
The GX150 running Windows 2000 was so well behaved yesterday. No resets when using Windows Installer or anything, not even a single thought of crashing.
Today on the other hand, the system immediately hard resets anytime I install something using an MSI!

The Optiplex GX150 is now getting Office 2003 copied over so I can get that installed
After that, its patches... and then getting cygwin installed so I have an X server. Once that's configured, games...
We got a 16' table instead of a 8' one, so I'll be building another friend for this machine

The PowerMac G4 successfully connects to the Tru64 box... this is huge
I need to work more on the laptop that is running AppleTalk/Samba services and stuff more though because I don't have a good way to get anything on or off of here... including the Mac OS X updates themselves

I got my Windows 2000 VM to connect to the Tru64 VM that will get used at my exhibit at VCF...

After a really good guild event, I'm now installing Tru64 in FreeAXP for part of my VCF exhibit...
This is so new to me, I'm really excited to explore it!

Let's see if FreeAXP is a bit happier on this. There's a few reasons why I chose this one, but the main reason is that its 64 bit, is a laptop, and has a physical serial port.
