I think I'm gonna actively dedicate LESS energy, hopefully none, to infighting. Friends and allies, if I disagree with you, however staunchly, whether I'm able to hold true to my affirmation to argue about it or not, please know that I'm with you all the way.
Finally reached the level of perfect certainty that the way they run Warcry is completely unmanageable and unsustainable and they probably know it. I might still play casually, but I'm fully done running up that hill and listening to the coder class of gamers basically dictating the meta at the top.

The country of my birth is fairly religious (in general, yes, but also) about running D&D 'enrichment courses' after school. I played the Uber 80s Mentzer red box D&D. Somehow this didn't materialize into long-term play. The TTRPG life is full of unrequited hiatustes.

Dang, I kinda wanna be in this band now. Maybe I'll keep my eyes open for a reasonably priced, decently portable synth.
Like, I might be the one idiot in the room feeling like, "This music is amazing on all fronts: It's weird, it's sorta funky, it's putting off the much more social people I don't wanna have to appear to be social with..."

Does the expression "Failson" also imply the parent was successful but specifically via dubious, unscrupulous, dishonest, or outright evil means, and that in a decent society even this success would be far from deserved and arguably a kind of moral failure in itself?
