Tell people you feel the need to tell - coaches, staff, boards. Tell everyone so you and others can be safe. If you need to talk and can’t talk to any of them, talk to me. I do it all the time (which is sad, but better out than in). But GET IT ON FORMAL RECORD.

that while the guy who assaulted you accuses you of all sorts, particularly that you consented or even enjoyed your assault, there’s only so much that can be done. And the other man litigated his way back after the club suspended him. The club had no choice. It’s difficult and hard on all sides.
