Baby’s first race. Bit doomed as three J13 girls and a J13 boy racing boats of four J14 boys. But good practice for what has to happen at a regatta and all the expectations and emotions. Including that post racing you can eat what you want at Maccas.

Opening minute of “Prime Target” and my immediate thought is “why is CUBC dressed in Oxford blue?” Second was “there’s no tank in the Ely boat house.” (They didn’t bother to edit RCBC out of the glass in the window, so ok.) I want to like this. I don’t want to be distracted by basics. #rowing

We all know #rowing is filled with innuendo. I had never heard of this book until yesterday. Two pages in and I am already “there’s no where private enough in HRR boat tents for THAT!” Pearls firmly clutched, of course I will read every word. Every. Single. Word.

One of my dearest, and funniest friends knows that I collect autographed books. Mostly rowing, but not all. And we’ve been friends so long it’s hard to shop for each other.
Ladies and gentlemen, I just got “Rick Rolled” at the “four dimensional chess” level, and I laughed for a solid five minutes.
