Hedgehog stated a half truth. Yes DARPA developed drone tech but Abraham Karem, born in Baghdad and raised in Israel actually invented the first drone. Under their administration he would have been deported.

Did you know that the military takes a food stipend from its soldiers. I think it's $500 a month which equals a ton of money. Unfortunately our soldiers still are not provided enough food. What gives? Well the military isn't spending it all on the soldiers, rather pocketing it.

When negotiations begin it's always good to give away something before you start talks. For instance when we simply cannot keep all of Ukraine.
Plus if we allow them to take Ukraine then we can do the same to other countries with impunity.
