I had excellent luck with a salt/sand mix sprinkled on in the morning, and then go back out a few hours later to peel the ice up. I think it was still working well down to 15F but I can’t exactly recall.

Monáe was touring for The ArchAndroid as the middle act- it was an amazingly fun crowd, she joined the crowd for a bit, and I left before the headliner to walk around in a happy daze. She’s an unbelievable artist.
