no tbh i forgot that tarry (as in dawdle) existed for a moment when i was writing this haha, i was too in my own head thinking about tarry (as in tar). i’ve got tar on the mind given all the people i would like to see tarred and feathered in this current environment

oh sorry, yes it’s tarry as in covered in tar or comparing to tar, but the narrator is pronouncing it like dawdle. but it’s a word that ends up being used somewhat often by the author as a descriptor, so i keep on hearing it from the narrator and it always takes me a second to realize what she said
