US president tells large corporation to make sure they don't have to pay their employees a living wage while his party is making sure they also can't get any government assistance.

I work for University of Warwick publishing higher education jobs. Not just academic but support staff as well. We've seen a drop off in the number of jobs being advertised since the restrictions on foreign students came into force. Foreign students provide jobs, help the balance of payments.

So I say this as a proud academic labor union member who believes deeply in the importance of tenure to the academic mission:
