Freya successfully breached the temporary cat room door while I was letting cleaners in (Celiac means that everything gets *very* cleaned before we can live there).

Then she hears the cleaners. Now she is hiding in her carrier.

Skadi, on the other hand, stole my chair during the same window.

The start of the "movers won't or shouldn't touch this" section.

I still have a pile of Lego, my airbrush and, oh, my actual 40K armies to add.

Imma need another table.

Just reminded by a Seanan post.

Here's the fourth commission from @looceyloo.bsky.social for my Dragon Age game!

She's an operative for the underground mage training and magic item smuggling ring the Chantry spy team has repeatedly bounced off of.

The outfit, well, hides a LOT of knives.

Please enjoy twelve seconds of Skadi purring despite still being in an inflatable collar.

(Vet's instructions are that it stays on for one week after the scratches are healed. I think we might be at day... Uh, Minus one.)

Evading via squishing and a tolerance for ugly omelette!

GF Bread recipe (I'd been meaning to type this up anyway, it's a small modification on what came with the machine)

If you see this, post a #StarTrek

For a second, I thought that photo had been taken in this house (I had basically the same set up of that chair and desk here when we lived here last), but it's even older.

I still miss this pair. Our current two are good cats, but Solara and Mistopheles were my first babies.

Lunch of champions, am I right?
November 12, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Well, this might be one of the stranger corrections I've been suggested in Word.

That wouldn't just change the meaning and structure of the sentence, those words have NOTHING to do with what I'm typing?

What does armada have to do "ambition of the"?

Thanks to the time change, Freya is convinced she is getting her evening snacks an hour late.

At ten pm, there was an attempted riot

Riots are easily suppressed, however, when they weigh eleven pounds and don't actually want to hurt anyone.

I love this shirt. The pattern isn't quite right for my tortie, Solara, who passed from cancer about six years ago now, but the vibe is.

Every time I put it on, it's like giving her a hug again.

I was the only person she'd ever let pick her up. She learned to love Jack, but *I* was *hers*

I haven't managed to touch my paints since finishing the Marshall the other day.

I have three AdMech Syrberus Raiders (misspelt, I know) to finish up for the 500pt army I'm making so Jack can try the game.

I'd like to finish them this week too...

This pair are still kittens in my mind, which is hilarious because they're the same age as my Freya.

You exist because we allow it. And you will end because we demand it.

If you see this, post a robot that isn't from Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who or Transformers.

Inevitably it was going to be a video game character and Regis came to mind first.

If you see this, post a vampire that's not Dracula

Doesn't Freya look comfy?

Like someone who doesn't have mortgages or deadlines

Does anyone have any ideas on why my Ingram books are showing up on Amazon with the completely wrong cover?

a.co/d/eBDs6Ei

I don't know what J.H. Prynne's Or Scissel is, but it sure isn't any of my four ONSET books, all of which are currently showing this as the cover.

The last weekly sale is Teer and Kard, my fantasy western!

Sixshooters and spells both make cattlehand Teer's life difficult, but he's a tough lad.

Book 1, Wardtown, is free until Friday: mybook.to/wardtown
Book 2, Blood Ward, is 0.99 in the US and UK until Friday mybook.to/bloodward

Been a minute since I finished one of these guys, so here's the Skitarii Marshall.

This is a kitty who gets her face washed twice a day until the hot spot heals.

This is also a kitty who is the absolute sweetest most cooperative baby ever.

This is my Skadi, current source of roughly 46% of my stress and a similar proportion of love.

It has been a bad couple of months, but we are all in on making sure she gets through it.
(It helps that so long as she is eating, she is mostly willing to ignore needles)

And, well, she is very sweet.
October 25, 2025 at 5:00 PM
To quote C-3PO "the damage doesn't look as bad from here"

(She has a itchy spot on the other side of her face that she has scratched raw)

Almost at 1,400 followers on the back of cat photos!

At 2,000 I'll kick a donation to charity (I did the same at 1,000, so I figure I'll stay consistent)

Right now, I think that charity will be Egale - they're the group running the court challenge to the current Alberta anti-trans legislation.
