Rep. Jared Golden of Maine voted to allow cuts to SSI and Medicare. There is NO reasoning with Republicans; if the govt goes into shutdown so be it, have a backbone to your morals!

The bill now goes to the Senate, where many Democrats oppose it but are not ready to vote against it yet
