I don't think we'll see political violence tone down. It will probably rise as there are distinctly two directions pulling America apart. Will it continue to embrace a multicultural democratic republic, or will it become a white-nationalist republic with chosen seats by a supreme leader?

I'm open to the possibility that someone hired the boy to shoot a man in the crowd and not at the candidate on stage and that the blood on the candidate was place on his face while he was huddled on the ground. Sorry for taking so long to come around. His campaign needed a big boost and got one.

No Kings Protest in Eugene was a community event raising money for local groups, support to local farm stands at the Saturday Market, increased business to food carts, restaurants, local craft stores. Peaceful and positive like any community parade. America still shines its light.

If you took an oath to uphold the US Constitution and don't fulfill that oath, you are disqualified from position of duty. Donald Trump is disqualified, I do not recognize him as president of the USA. Mike Johnson is also disqualified for not insisting Trump uphold his oath to America.

Trump's only knowledge of the world is from TV and movies. It's no wonder he thinks this country is full of murderers and rapists, especially when the 80's action shows and movies are playing.
Ummm actually, it was closed down 60 years ago because it was the cost to keep it open was exorbitant. Also, fun facts. It’s now a National park. And, oddly, the movie Alcatraz was playing this past weekend, on a station in… you guessed it, south Florida. Coincidence? I think not.

Trump isn't fulfilling his oath to follow or protect the Constitution. Shouldn't breaking his oath disqualify him from being president? At some point the various parts of government like the Pentagon can say this president is disqualified from giving orders... I'm asking as a pleb.
