I don’t know if that’s a normal thing to have or want. I think so. But I know people who would gladly go a week or two between contact with non-cohabitants.

I text with that group chat you’re on with me almost every day. Also the Signal chat that the Shoestore moved to. As far as individuals, I text with one particular local friend just about every day - and my mom and sister every day or two. No one in person though - not even coworkers since WFH.

I gotta give it up to the writers tho. If NYC elects a Muslim mayor on the day Dick Cheney died, that is one hell of a slow played story arc. Every time you want to fire 2025's writers room they give you a little narrative resolution as a treat.
