Woke up to quite the update on this. I had been in contact with Payment Cloud about getting their service and they waited until now to hit me with the image below. Again, stringing me along instead of being upfront. They had seen my website multiple times before this.

It's not over. Steam isn't allowing games with 'mature themes' in Early Access. Call, email, letter PayPal, Stripe, Mastercard, and Visa. Do your dailies.
Heavy Hearts dev Dammitbird received the following notice from Steam, noting “your app has failed our review because we're unable to support the Early Access model of development for a game with mature themes”

this is why adult creators are really emphasizing that non-creators be the ones who contact paypal. Of all the paypros, PP is the most likely to act in a retaliatory manner towards individual accounts. If you dont make adult content or youre just a commissioner, you are able to help a LOT
Whenever I've called PayPal and brought up issues with adult content they have always asked me first if I'm engaging in selling it through my account. Paypal wants to know if it can target you when you question its policies.
I like how you, as a NSFW creator, need to seek permission - but doing so obviously puts you on their radar and risks getting shit-canned just for trying to be "legit" about it

The queer creators disenfranchised by the Mastercard fiasco still have Kofi, many still have Patreon, and some can even be directly commissioned. Others have websites and Etsy stores.
