I don’t think it’s fitting to have a “fat” president… or vice president either… sooo… @mollyjongfast.bsky.social (I don’t condone body shaming, but this is their directive, no?)

Bring back Denny Crane and Alan Shore. Someone call David E. Kelly. I doubt he’s working on anything that can be as impactful than bringing back Boston Legal, even if it’s a 10-20min special with just William Shatner and James Spader on the rooftop. We need it right now #PopularOpinion

Taylor Swift bought her masters. Let’s think about this for a moment:

1. How much did it cost?
2. What’s the ROI now that she created her own set of “Taylor’s Version”? Certainly has increased CLV

And:

3. What could she have done with that money instead, and would that look like? #TaylorSwift

I wanna talk about it but I'll be late for work /

At least according to the movie “Ferris Buelers Day Off” the tariffs threw us deeper into the depression:

Unpopular Opinion: Am I the only one who has always enjoyed “Enlightenment”? I felt Cristobal’s soundtrack was refreshing this season of White Lotus. And we need the “Full Moon” version of “Enlightenment” on Spotify, obvs #everythingisfineright

Yo, baby girl (or guy or whatever you are) it's okay if you experience burnout to the point that you can't draw for a while. You don't owe the world your art or nothin'. If you force yourself to try harder, you're gonna be miserable. Take the break and take it easy on yourself.

Trump and DOGE fired USDA employees who held vital positions inspecting our food and protecting supply chains from invasive pests.

Experts now warn that food could rot while waiting for inspections, which could lead to even higher grocery prices.

The only way Apple was going to get everyone to uninstall Google Maps and reinstall Apple Maps 📍
Google Maps has officially changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to "Gulf of America" after Trump's executive order. And a new Republican bill would let Trump rename Greenland "Red, White and Blueland." Still no word on lowering the cost of groceries, however.

do you enjoy knowing that when you deposit money in a US bank, you won't lose that money? nice, right?

it's because bank deposits are insured by FDIC.

i don't know what FDIC ever did to these people, but apparently it too is now on their blow-it-up list:

A government-wide hiring freeze is adding to a staffing shortage at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., complicating the agency’s efforts to oversee thousands of banks across the country.
