There are no trans little boys out there getting bottom surgery. It's hard for even adults to get. Any surgeries done on a person under 18 are very rare, and when they do happen it's on an older teenager.

It is worth noting that before this I was already shaking with fear about the possible confrontation that could ensue. The security man and the two other men in the room circled me. He tells me he doesn't care what I have to say, that I need to get out. So I do.
I leave and talk to the store manager, where again, I have to relay all sorts of intimate and private details, of my background, my trans and intersex statuses, history of being assaulted, my genital configuration. This is humiliating.
I felt deeply unsafe, humiliated, hopeless like nobody cares, violated. I don't think the EHRC lets me use the [service of my gender] so I was just denied service."

I hate being told I should just wait for slow change, that can backslide far swifter than ever advance, if it does.
