“Uncomfortable” discourse is usually good. True learning happens in discomfort
“Toxic” discourse is bad, it involves bullying, targeted hatred, etc

Hopepunk is the opposite of grimdark. Finding hope in the darkness is a radical, rebellious, beautiful, terrifying act--and is necessary to fight on.
