On this snowy April morning, I came across this sketch I made last summer on the subway. It was easily 95⁰ on the train and the "air-conditioned" car was anything but.

I was there to see KGLW at Forest Hills, and this train ride was the start of an excellent weekend.

We're small, but y'all love our maple syrup, cheese, socks, and lots of stuff you use every day but don't know it. This is a big hit.

I've been waiting SO LONG for a new release from these kickass people. And it's awesome.

John Malkovich and Ayo Edebiri? I signed up. Good watch but it should have been great.

More entertaining the closer you are to artistes and auteurs. Ayo Edebiri is the one sane person in this bonkers Midsommer Meets Rocket Man. There is a reason they had an intimacy coordinator for Malk...

On International Women's Day, I made this collage with @attherootvt ! Thanks so much for bringing us together for art making and conversation in community!

We need to imagine something better so we can work toward it. 🧡🧡🧡

Now that the Oscars are over, we can focus on some of the less notable, but absolutely note-worthy elements of 2024 movies, like Dennis Quaid's shrimp platter.

Saw these chirpy little birds on my ski last week. It was amazing to see something new and bright and happy in midwinter.

What cold have you had in the past week and do you have sick leave to take care of yourself?

Keep your eye on the ball. JD Vance is laying the groundwork for Trump to defy court orders, weaken the courts, and dismantle checks and balances on the presidency.

Super cool show at the S.P.A.C.E. Gallery: "All the Feels!" I went to the opening with my best art critic. My print, "Midnight Midwinter" is on the small wall near the art studios :)

Check it out, some of my favorite Burlington artists are represented! spacegalleryvt.com/tag/all-the-...

I was an early AI enthusiast (not cutting edge, but early adopter?) and have really been alarmed at the near-universal insertion of AI tech into our everyday life. Beside the environmental impact, there's an interpersonal one. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Had a great weekend in the print shop. I'm trying to keep busy and make good things to put out into the world. This is a print about the darkness of winter in Vermont, and the loneliness that often accompanies it.

Because there is nothing profound that I can add to the discussion about the impending Presidential Cabinet of Doom, I'll share that I recently watched "The Lair of the White Worm" for the first time and it was the most bonkers thing I had seen in a while. letterboxd.com/ginferra/fil...
A ★★★½ review of The Lair of the White Worm (1988)
Goofy, gross, and bananas. Baby-faced Hugh Grant and Peter Capaldi tangle with serpents while the ladies trip on the venom. Basically.
