Just finished watching Nosferatu... Idk kind of underwhelming. Love the gothic horror vibe though and all the actors are great. Next movies would be Sinners & Zootopia 2. I've heard only good things about Sinners so fingers crossed I'd enjoy it.

Not only Spotify wrapped this year is more accurate but they're also much much better than the slop last year. I've been listening to a lot of old songs this year my top 5 are all pre-2000s songs. Guess, I'm getting old 😬

Should I start writing on substack? Or should I use medium? I enjoy writing article more than fiction (your girl just can't write descriptively to save her life) and as an ADHDer I have tons of interest that I have an overwhelming urge to put on paper (well, screen in this case).

I shut myself from the world for 3 years (almost 4) because of depression & family problems (which is the leading cause to my depression) and now everyone has moved on with their lives & I am struggling to reconnect with them. It's so sad but then it is what it is =(
I never realised how lonely I am until I need someone to talk to & I don't have any =(

That feeling when you finished watch a movie that makes you think really deep & worse, confronting your own feeling so now you're just sitting there staring into the distance.

It may take me a few days to write the review for letterboxd.

This is why I never take critics seriously bcs they always hate anything popular & they always let their own personal bias clouding their judgement when they should be as objective as possible.

On This Day in 1963, The Beatles Performed to a Tough Swedish Critic: “No Musical Importance Whatsoever”
Everyone's a critic, sure, but the one who reviewed The Beatles in Sweden in 1963 was especially cutting (and decidedly wrong).

For someone that claimed she's not really a film person, I actually watched & enjoy quite a lot of movies (both newer & old). Maybe I should open a letterboxd account 🤔

Fun Fact: Until The Bee Sting by Paul Murray was published in 2023, the musician Sting didn’t have a name. People used to have to shout “Hey, you!” to get his attention.

Not related but whenever I heard/read the word 'octopus' I automatically sing the Beatles' octopus's garden.
As today is World Octopus Day I’ll again mention that a Spanish equivalent to “like a fish out of water” is como un pulpo en un garaje. It means “like an octopus in a garage.”

"I just like to engage in art in a different & critical way" is almost always a code for shallow hateful negativity-fest empty opinion. Same with people that "only want to talk about deep stuff" they're the most dull person ever. It's like conversing with an ai chatbot.

I've been watching a lot of old films (40s & 50s) lately and in most of them the main characters were always cheating. And if you think insta love trope is a social media era trope, you're wrong. It was VERY prevalent in old hollywood films.

What a fun album! This album is basically Taylor making fun of her haters (the funniest thing is they don't even realise it 😂) & said fuck it let's have fun and throw every glitter pens she had in it. I have a good laugh today, thanks Tay 😁

It's still baffle me that people LOVE to go out of their way to listen to an artist that they claimed to hate bcs if I hate an artist, they're basically do not exist for me. Why revel in smth you hate when you can enjoy what you love??
