i’m old enough to be in the demographic that doesn’t really use it anyway but i’m always kind of baffled when people defend using c.ai not even for whatever anti-ai reasons but. that does not sound like the character. at all. i’ve seen the caps from it the bots there just do the same few “voices”

actually i commented to cat early on that reading arthurian stuff would be slightly weird because of the stronger pop culture associations (gbf in my case; i’ve never been really interested in the dragon knights anyway but just through exposure it was my primary association with eg lancelot)

so the thing about this casting is it leans more on skills than appearances, since for example kubota is absolutely god tier at “benevolent but dead behind the eyes” types. however if appearance were the primary concern, it would actually be kubota maleagant, and (dragged off stage)
so far we got seto lancelot, iijima mordred, kubota gawain, iwanaga (date birth) kay, so kaku galehaut, erika malehaut, ryon maleagant, koike yui guinevere, machi morgan, we need to debate for 100 years for arthur
