but also: imo there's a lot of benefits properly calibrating whatever monitor you use for art stuff
for one thing, tons of people are gonna look at your work on iphones, which are surprisingly *extremely* accurate

Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.

working on another piece with this sorta body type, and it's super fun to realize that rougher brushwork with less blending can actually make skin look *softer*
