If your experiences lead you to extrapolate that there are millions abusing the system, my experiences of knowing 3 people who claim disability benefits would lead me to extrapolate that NOBODY is abusing the system. Lies, damn lies and statistics, as they say.
Maybe YOU are, but many, dare I say, most, are just looking for a handout.
I have family members that I've reported for this sort of abuse, and I know of dozens who do the same. I'm just 1 person, if I know of dozens, the number is in the millions.

Don’t you think the government would OVERstate the figures rather than UNDERstate them if they wanted people to believe that many disabled claimants were frauds?
So you're aware that this govt itself has lied to its people on a daily basis for over 60 years?
I find it funny when people are naive enough to "trust the govt", especially with all of the grift and waste that has already been uncovered.

Lack of a viable alternative was the main reason for me. Twitter has been a shitshow for a long time now but until someone pointed me in the direction of Bluesky, it was a case of putting up with the shit. Not any more though!
I’m genuinely curious about why it took the election results for millions of people to leave X?
Did the content or moderation policies suddenly become worse or did people suddenly realize they were on Truth Social 2.0?

What an odd sensation. Interactions on Bluesky are making me want to be nicer to people in real life too. Nothing major, just saying the odd ‘good morning’ here and there or smiling at people when they pass by. I didn’t realise quite how low the cesspit of other social media sites had dragged me.

There are very few far right accounts on BlueSky.
So if you block the likes of Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson, Laurence Fox, GB News etc. as soon as they show up, they'll find it very hard to gain traction.
(They're counting on the network effect of YOUR outrage. Don't give them the satisfaction.)

What an enjoyable evening. Bluesky is like Twitter without the knobheads and the rampant racism, sexism…everythingism! I’m sure the brain-dead morons will find their way here eventually but the block button will cut them off at the pass. They can have Twatter but Bluesky is for the decent folk!
